Volunteering for Front of House covers three different areas of the Theatre:
Box Office, Beverage Sales and Ushering.
Box Office - Selling tickets to patrons one hour before each performance. Volunteers then direct each person towards the theatre where they will meet the Ushers.
Ushering –Take tickets and seat the patrons in their designated seats. These volunteers are also in charge of making sure the guests receive a show playbill to look over until the performance begins. ECCT staff would also greatly appreciate any help with cleaning up and/or arranging the chairs after each performance.
Beverage Sales – Selling beverages one hour before the performance begins as well as during intermission. Working with cash register, making change and stocking (in some instances) will be required.
To show our appreciation of your time and effort the ECCT Staff encourages each Front of House volunteer to stay and enjoy the show free of charge!
