Acting in an ECCT Production

AUDITIONING TIPS

If you're interested in being in an upcoming show, you are in the right spot learn about auditioning at ECCT and what it is like to be part of an ECCT cast. Whether you’ve never auditioned EVER or you’ve done it a hundred times, auditioning can be nerve-racking! Don’t worry though, because we’ve answered the most frequently asked questions to help you prepare.

If an audition requires a prepared song, consider using a backing track from Spotify. They will be available at all ECCT musical auditions.

Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals are usually held three to four nights a week from 5:30-7pm or 7-9:30pm, depending on the show. Extra or extended rehearsals are occasionally held at the director’s discretion. Performers are expected to be committed to meeting the demands of producing a high quality show, but it will all be worth it when the curtain goes up!
